Meet Kristin Fraser

Kristin Fraser was one of the first people I met when I arrived at the Natural Gourmet Institute for the first day of classes. We were both a little early, and were standing in the stairwell waiting for the doors to be opened. I felt ill. I hadn’t done anything like this in a looooong time. But she was so excited. I could tell she couldn’t wait for the start of this adventure.
The picture above is the Kristin I came to know. Optimistic, enthusiastic, and motivated. A go-getter! You know the kind of person you can’t help being drawn to. By the time she had gotten to NGI Kristin was already the founder of Inner Glow Nutrition, she was a holistic nutritionist, wellness speaker, led retreats, taught cooking classes and did one on one coaching! I’m glad I didn’t really absorb all of that until after we’d graduated or I would have been even more nervous! Instead, Kristin’s incredible spirit shone through and she was simply a positive, inspiring, motivating friend.
After graduating, Kristin has continued to promote a natural food diet as a means to optimal health. While my focus is on ‘family friendly’ vegan food, Kristin’s focus is on nutrition. Her recipes not only make you feel better, but help your body function better.
She makes eating plant-based, raw and whole ingredients easy and delicious. And although food remains the major cornerstone of her philosophy, Kristin also believes that food is not everything and is motivated to inspire and empower people to find that ‘zest for life’. Lucky for us, its her mission to share her knowledge as our ‘Wellness Warrior’. So take notes!

*(Just FYI…In addition to completing the Chefs Training Program at NGI, Kristin is a member of CAHN-Pro (Canadian Association for Holistic Nutrition Professionals), and has completed Canada’s leading program in Natural Nutrition through CSNN (Canadian School of Natural Nutrition). She also obtained her Living Foods Instructor training at The Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Patagonia, Arizona. Told you she was a go-getter!)
